Marlin Electroplaters Limited was purchased by the current owners/owner in October 1988.

The owners Keith and Jos Pearson had been living in Tauranga for four years prior to returning to Auckland with their two daughters to purchase Marlin Electroplaters Limited.

Keith's background was in electronics and Jos had been working in the accounting industry for many years.

Marlin Electroplaters Limited was then renamed Marlin Electroplaters (1988) Limited.                                    

The business was originally located in Pukemiro Street, Onehunga.

In July 1994, following expansion and a subsequent lack of space, a move became necessary. An empty building one street away was purchased, and Marlin Electroplaters (1988) Limited was on the move to its current location at 54 Angle Street Onehunga. Following extensive refurbishment, the building was ready, and Marlin Electroplaters (1988) Limited began operating from the new premises in 1995.

Unfortunately Keith passed away in November 2004 and Jos has been and is still running the firm.

The people employed by Marlin are very experienced, and have been with the company for a number of years. John Williams, our valued Production Manager, has been with Marlin since 1989. The Foreman, File Elisala, has been with Marlin since 2001. Along with John and File, Marlin's friendly experienced staff are expertly trained to handle your needs with the utmost care and attention.
